Wall tiles

While you might think of paint and wallpaper as being the two main ways to grace a wall with décor, you should also consider the long loved choice of wall tiles. Just like with floor tiles, there is a huge variety to choose from in this genre of wall covering, allowing you to go with any texture and color scheme that you prefer.
The varied texture of wall tiles allows you to add an even more authentic feel to your home. Tiles can be used on your wall in any room in the home, but they tend to work especially well in rooms such as your kitchen, dining room, or bathroom. Some people also enjoy using wall tiles to decorate a wall outside, such as on the porch or patio.

Themed wall tiles

One of the best ways to use wall tiles in your home is to use them along with a theme that has already been developed. If you are going for a Mexican theme, bright and colorful glossy tiles work great (colors such as yellow, red, green, and blue) to promote the festive feel.
If you are going for a rustic look, you might consider a reddish brown tile with a rough texture. If you are going for ultramodern, then black or stainless steel wall tiles could add a more modern and cutting edge feel to your room. When using these tiles instead of wall paper, you may have to go through a bit more work in the installation process, but it generally comes out looking much more impressive in the long run.
If you don’t want to do the installation yourself, many companies are available that will assist you in setting up your new wall tiles to enjoy in your home.
